Glyco Defender is a liquid dietary supplement in a 1 oz (30 mL) amber dropper bottle. Each 1 mL serving lists 7 mcg of chromium picolinate and a 15.47 mg proprietary blend of 21 plant extracts and amino acids. It is not a medicine.

Does Glyco Defender lower blood sugar?

No study shows that it does, because nobody has tested the drops. Can Glyco Defender be taken with metformin or insulin?

Ask your doctor first. Chromium and some herbs may add to diabetes medicines and cause low blood sugar, especially with insulin or a sulfonylurea (NIH ODS, Chromium) (NIDDK, Low Blood Glucose). Keep taking your medicine as prescribed.

How many Glyco Defender drops a day?

One full dropperful of 1 mL, taken once a day. Shake the bottle first, then place it in your mouth and swallow, or stir it into water. The label warns against going over the recommended dose.
